Introducing Global Mining Dataset

By Global Mining Dataset

We've released the first version of Global Mining Dataset. You can explore mining locations on a global map, search for a site and build a filtered asset list without having to assemble the starting dataset yourself.

The map and results table work together. You can narrow the list by country, commodity or facility type, then select an asset to review its coordinates, available fields and source information. It gives you a practical way to move from a broad geographic view to a particular location.

You can also export filtered results as CSV. That makes it easier to take a list into your own spreadsheet, compare opportunities or keep a record of the assets you want to investigate.

This is the starting point for the platform. We'll build on it with more source data and screening tools. For an overview of the asset types covered today, see Understanding the Asset Universe.
