Critical mineral context

By Global Mining Dataset

We've added critical mineral context to asset information and exports. The platform now compares an asset's recorded commodities with jurisdiction-specific critical mineral reference lists.

This matters because a commodity can be designated as critical in one market and treated differently in another. You can review that policy context alongside the asset's geography and other characteristics, rather than relying on a single global label.

For teams working on commodity strategy, investment screening or supply-chain research, it's another way to build a relevant asset list and explain why particular commodities are being included.

You can find the reference lists and an explanation of how they are applied in the critical mineral documentation.
